4Vets GASTRO INTESTINAL Wet Veterinary Dog Food for Dogs with Gastric Problems

A complete, highly digestible dietetic dog food for dogs with symptoms of digestive and intestinal absorption disorders, as well as for dogs with gastritis. It contains easily digestible ingredients and an increased amount of electrolytes, which compensate for losses resulting from impaired digestion. After consulting a veterinarian, it may be used in cases of chronic pancreatic insufficiency. Thanks to its high energy content and high nutrient content, it is also recommended during recovery from illness.

 Duration of the veterinary diet:

during episodes of acute diarrhea and during the recovery period: 1 to 2 weeks; to correct deficiencies caused by malabsorption: 3–12 weeks; however, in cases of chronic pancreatic insufficiency, lifelong use is recommended; consult your veterinarian before use.

· Food based on animal-derived ingredients (turkey and salmon) characterized by a high content of complete protein with a high limiting amino acid ratio and a very beneficial fatty acid profile. In addition, the production process helps ensure compliance with a key requirement for veterinary diets—ease of digestion—which is essential for improving digestive processes.

· The potato starch contained in the GASTRO Intestinal diet, which is a source of amylopectin, provides essential energy components that enhance the efficiency of nutrient absorption.· The addition of salmon oil, along with flaxseed oil, increases the amount of essential unsaturated fatty acids.

·         The addition of DL-methionine enhances the competitive absorption of branched-chain amino acids—leucine, isoleucine, and valine—thereby increasing the pool of amino acids involved in the regeneration of body tissues, including enterocytes

· The presence of mannooligosaccharides and beta-glucans, on the one hand, stimulates the response of immune system cells located in the lymphoid tissue clusters of the gastrointestinal tract wall, making the gastrointestinal tract more resistant to environmental factors, but it also influences the profile of the gut microbiota, ensuring optimal conditions for the regeneration of enterocytes.· Yeast is an additional valuable source of easily digestible vitamins and minerals, increasing their content in the food and improving their bioavailability in the dog’s digestive tract.Yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae enriched with selenium provides this mineral, which is essential for proper functioning.

· Psyllium seeds, combined with Mojave yucca, promote intestinal peristalsis without interfering with digestion or nutrient absorption.
