AQUAEL PhosMAX Pro FILTER CARTRIDGE
PhosMAX Pro is a unique filter cartridge designed for chemical water filtration in freshwater aquariums and terrarium tanks.It is used for the chemical absorption of water-soluble phosphates, which are one of the main causes of troublesome algae growth in aquariums.
How PhosMAX Pro Works?
The filter cartridge efficiently removes phosphates from the water.It is also completely safe for both fish and aquarium invertebrates, as well as for plants.It works selectively, without removing beneficial compounds such as trace elements and vitamins from the water. It does not release any toxic substances into the water.
How to Use PhosMAX Pro?
PhosMAX Pro works perfectly as a filter medium in canister filters, overflow filters, internal filters with compartments for loose media (e.g., TURBOFILTER), as well as in sumps and filter stacks.It is especially recommended for tanks with a very large number of fish fed meat-based foods (e.g., large cichlids, catfish) and lacking plants that act as natural phosphate absorbers.
Usage PhosMAX Pro allows you to reduce the volume and frequency of water changes and effectively prevents algae growth in the tank.
Over time, it is gradually depleted.In order to ensure the continuity of its operations it is recommended to replace it at least once every 4 weeks.
