Bros Fly Bag

A fly bag is an exceptionally effective trap for monitoring the presence of flies in open areas.It works solely through physical means—insects fly into the closed bag, which allows for early detection of their presence in the area and an assessment of their population size.
The trap contains a non-toxic ingredient that is extremely attractive to flies, and the product's special design prevents them from escaping.The attractant and the large size of the bag make it possible to determine the size of the fly population and the scale of the problem—this is important because it is not always necessary to take measures to control them (e.g., if the number of insects is small and does not exceed the damage threshold).The trap is suitable for monitoring the vast majority of fly species found in Poland.

Usage:

1) Remove the red cap from the yellow cover.
2) Unfold the mesh cone and make sure the opening at its tip is clear.
3) Pour the contents of the enclosed packet into the cone and add 3/4 liter of lukewarm water
4) Cover the trap with the red cap, snapping it into the tabs with holes located on the yellow lid.
5) Hang the trap in a location between the source of the flies and the area being monitored (house, garden), at least 15 m from a residential building and 5 m from livestock areas (chicken coop, compost and manure piles, etc.).).Place the trap at head height (1.5–2 m) in a sunny and well-ventilated spot.
6) The trap starts working after 2 days.Top it off with a small amount of water every week.
7) To ensure continuity of operation, hang a new trap 3–4 days before removing the filled one.
8) Cut open the bag containing the filled trap and dispose of the contents in the compost or manure pile.Due to the strong, very unpleasant odor, it is recommended to wear rubber gloves.
