Fiprex duo S solution for treating flea and tick infestations in dogs weighing 2 to 10 kg
Fiprex® DUO is a line of veterinary products designed to control flea and tick infestations in dogs, cats, and ferrets.Fiprex® DUO contains two active ingredients: Fipronil and (S)-Metoprene.The product works by eliminating fleas, ticks, and lice by blocking the parasite's nerve signals, which results in its paralysis and death.Fipronil kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks and lice within 48 hours of application. Metoprene, an active ingredient in Fiprex® DUO (S), inhibits the development of immature flea life stages (eggs, larvae, and pupae) that are present in the animals’ living environment, including. in pens and sleeping areas.
INDICATIONS FOR USE:
- Control of flea infestations alone or mixed infestations involving ticks and/or lice.
- Controlling Adult Fleas. The insecticidal effect against new infestations of adult fleas lasts for 8 weeks.
- Controlling flea eggs, larvae, and pupae. This effect lasts for 8 weeks after the procedure.
- Tick Control. The product's acaricidal effect lasts up to 4 weeks after application.
- Head Lice Treatment.
This product may be used to alleviate the clinical signs of allergic flea dermatitis (AFD), provided that the condition has been previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.
SERVING SUGGESTION:
Hold the pipette upright.Tap the narrow end of the pipette to ensure that the contents remain in the main body of the pipette.Snap off the tip.Part the fur on the animal's back at the base of the neck, in front of the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible.Place the tip of the pipette on your skin and squeeze the pipette a few times to completely empty its contents directly onto your skin in one spot. Temporary changes in the coat (matted or greasy hair) may be noticed at the application site.
Do not bathe your pet for 2 days after applying the product, and do not bathe it more than once a week.Dogs should not swim in bodies of water for 2 days after administration of the product.
The interval between treatments is 4 weeks.
