Prepare your pet to use the toothpaste.Let your pet get used to the taste and smell of the product.Start getting your pet used to it, preferably from a very young age, before its first teeth come in.

Brushing: Apply a small amount of toothpaste to your finger and let your dog lick it off.Now put a small amount of toothpaste on the toothbrush and let your dog lick it off.The goal is to get the animal used to the taste of the toothpaste and the feel of the bristles on the toothbrush.

Use it every day.Lift the animal's cheek and apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste directly to the gums using a toothbrush.When using a toothbrush, brush in a circular motion while holding your lower jaw steady.Apply the toothpaste to each gum and brush for 30 seconds.Do not rinse.
