Bayer Foresto kills ticks and fleas and repels ticks (prevents them from feeding) in dogs and cats.It also eliminates lice and fleas in dogs.

The 70-cm-long collar contains: active ingredients: imidacloprid at a dose of 4.5 g, flumethrin at a dose of 2.03 g; excipients: titanium dioxide, black iron oxide

Properties
While the animal is wearing the collar, the active ingredients are continuously released and spread throughout its fur, killing fleas and ticks on contact.Absorption of both ingredients through the skin of dogs and cats is negligible and poses no risk to the animals.

The collar is effective for up to 8 months.The product is waterproof and odorless.

Indications
Control and prevention of infestations by ticks of the species Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus.Dermacentor reticulatus, as well as Ctenocephalides felis fleas that infest dogs.The product provides long-lasting acaricidal efficacy (kills mites).

Contraindications
Do not use on puppies younger than 7 weeks.

Directions for Use
If an animal has ticks, putting on a collar before starting treatment may not kill the ticks (within 48 hours).It is recommended to remove any ticks already on the animal before putting on the collar.Protection against new tick infestations begins within 2 days of putting on the collar.It's best to put collars on your pets before the flea and tick season begins.
