QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT Active ingredient: 1 pipette (0.5 mL) contains: Fipronil 50 mg; 1 pipette (0.67 mL) contains: Fipronil 67 mg; 1 pipette (1.34 mL) contains: Fipronil 134 mg; 1 pipette (2.68 mL) contains: Fipronil 268 mg; 1 pipette (4.02 mL) contains: Fipronil 402 mg.INDICATIONS Treatment and prevention of infestations in cats and dogs: fleas (Ctenocephalides sp..), ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Dermacentor sp.., Amblyomma americanum, Haemaphysalis leachi, Ixodes sp..), lice (Felicola subrostratus—in cats, Trichodectes canis—in dogs).This product can be used in cats and dogs to prevent and treat allergic flea dermatitis (AFD).To this end, it is recommended to perform the treatment once a month on patients with allergy symptoms, as well as on any other dogs and cats living with them.A single dose of the product provides protection against flea infestations for 3 months in dogs and 5 weeks in cats, and against tick infestations for 3–5 weeks in dogs and 3–4 weeks in cats, and against lice infestation for up to 63 days in dogs and 42 days in cats.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Due to a lack of studies, this medicinal product should not be used in species other than the target species..Do not use this product on puppies younger than 8 weeks and/or weighing less than 2 kg, or on kittens younger than 8 weeks and/or weighing less than 1 kg.Do not use on sick cats or dogs (systemic diseases, febrile conditions) or during convalescence.Do not use in rabbits, as the product may cause adverse reactions or even lead to death.Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the excipients.
